Why We Built This Site
Virginia's Online Case Information System offers public case details, while the Circuit, General District, and Juvenile and Domestic Relations court clerks maintain separate records. The Sheriff's Office serves criminal warrants and civil process; District 10 Magistrate Services handles new process and bail questions. Those jobs do not combine into one county warrant database. Appomattox County does not publish a public active-warrant roster, and a search result or blank result is not an official clearance. The county guides organize verified local contacts, court routes, public-record request steps, and the limits of each search source so readers can ask the office that holds the specific record.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Virginia court, Sheriff's Office, or state agency. Appomattox town ordinance and traffic matters use General District Court; there is no separate municipal court or county warrant portal. There are real limits to what this reference can do:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or court detail is current at the moment you read it
Only the issuing court can confirm its docket and recall entries. The Sheriff's Office can address service questions. Ask each office about the part of the record it controls.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results, and their data is not an official warrant check.
